Gaim: now on SVN
Today (CET) the Gaim development team decided to move to SVN, heavily influenced by the recent trouble surrounding SourceForge.net‘s CVS services.
I have modified my build script to incorporate this change so the transition should be transparent. I’ve also updated the NSIS installer to 2.16 and a few MinGW/Cygwin tools used in the build process as well. As always, should you experience any trouble with these CVS- ..erh, SVN builds, you should test the issue with the official Gaim builds before contacting the developers. And in any case be really considerate. Towards anyone you meet, really. Capisce?
BTW, note that the Gaim developers have not yet changed the version tag, so the filenames and internal program version will still be “2.0.0cvs” (for a while).
