PHPhiler update

I’m working a lot on PHPhiler at the moment. I truly believe it’ll be a kickass app, once I get the core mangled the way I want it. Shame I haven’t had the time to update the site, though…

Using it in a live web application as I am, it gives me a lot of nifty ideas and makes me see it in a new light all the time, which really helps to develop the interface and overall effectiveness of it. Also makes me see how powerful PHP really is. It allows for perfect modularity and dynamic integration with HTML in a way that isn’t at all possible using just static web programming. Also makes me think how major corporations (forget their names) can profit from huge GUI-based applications[1][2], when everything is so much easier and better overlooked in a simple text editor with syntax highlighting.

I can’t imagine programming for the web in any other way.
