Images moved

My puny upload speed requires me to think of new and extravagant methods that can reduce hogging of my own bandwidth .. so I’ve moved all images to another server (thanks, Cybercity). Should reduce waits in your end as well.

Which reminds me: why is it so goddamn hard to get a decent upload for decent money? All Danish ISP’s are stumbling over themselves to shove cheap download rates down people’s throats. What about upload rates? What can I really do with a 1024kbit/128kbit ADSL line? If one uses the Internet for anything more than surfing, high upload capability is a must. Online gaming, IM file transfers, webcams and other multimedia applications that act as a server and transmit data to other machines on the Internet (I don’t have any Particular type of apPlication in mind here, of course) all need a relatively high upload rate.

*Sigh* .. they just don’t realise that any download rate above 1Mbit is basically redundant. So WHAT if I can get 8Mbits through my router? We wan’t more upload! Maybe I should start a petition… hmm ..
