Happy Ol' Year!
Well – it finally turned 2003, Christmas is over and yet another New Year’s Eve has passed. To be honest, I’m beginning to have a hard time spotting the difference from the year before. I suppose at my age, one wants each year’s celebrations to be special and unique. Ever so slowly, though, I am realizing that the holidays should really just be spent on some quality time with friends and family – something many people rarely have the time for anymore (myself included).
So. Allow me to be frank for a moment (no, not ‘Frank’. Sincere..) as I wish you all the best for the new year – the third of this millenium.
“Time goes by so fast, people go in and out of your life. You must never miss the opportunity to tell these people how much they mean to you.”
From the wise words of one of the guests at “Cheers”.
Anyway, enough with the mushy talk. I’m currently working on a comprehensive redesign of this site (see earlier news item). It features a streamlined design and a PHP-based backend for news posting, file managing and document handling – thus making it easier to update (and more probable that I do so often).
The backside of this comprehensive, hi-tech, state-of-the-art, streamlined, interoperable, scalable update of my www-identity is that I have to either move my site to a web-hosting service (that charges a fee) or to host it myself. Both solutions require money, of which I have very little, and hence no update will occur until I am able to utilize either of these two options effectively.
No more blabbering. Happy New Year.
