New Job & Other Tales of That Sort

Started my new job today, and got a warm welcome. They even gave me flowers!

I’m working on some more stuff for the site, including some classic ‘about me’-info and other goodies like texts and things I have created in the past. Also, there’ll be a walkthrough on the creation of this site, if someone wants to do something similar.

Yesterday I also tried a new game called Battlefield 1942 – it has to be one of the best FPS-type games I have ever tried! Here’s the hype:

“In Battlefield 1942, you will experience the heat of battle as you heroically storm the beaches of Normandy, drive a tank across the deserts of northern Africa, pilot a fighter plane during the Battle of Midway, command a battleship at Guadalcanal, or parachute and commandeer a jeep in operation Market Garden. You’ll pick up the sidearm of your choice and get behind the wheel of a variety of vehicles, ships, and aircraft to go to war on land, sea, and air during some of the most famous and pivotal battles of the Second World War.”
